" 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' " Jeremiah 29:11

HI! My name is Bronwyn (Miss "B" to the kids) and I am the Children's Minister here at First Baptist Church College Station. I have been a Minister to Children full-time for almost 12 years, 9 of those here at FBCCS. I love seeing boys and girls accept Jesus as their Lord as Savior and I love sharing in their baptisms! I also love helping children hide the God's Word in their hearts. Children's Camp is my favorite week of the year. My most favorite memory as a child is sitting in my Papaw's lap and sharing his chocolate pie and my mom scratching my back while she would sing to help me sleep at night.

Education: I graduated from Tomball High School in 1989 and then attended Baylor University (Go Bears!) where I received a BA in Psychology with a minor in Religion in 1993. In 1995, I received a Master of Arts in Religious Education with a concentration in Childhood Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. I am currently a doctoral student in Early Childhood Education at Texas A&M University.

Family: My parents still live in Tomball, Texas where I grew up. My daddy is a custom home builder and remodeler and my mom is a church pianist and teaches piano lessons. I have one brother who's married. I have two beautiful nieces, Alex and Ariel and one handsome nephew, Tyler.  My family loves going to Baylor games together. I have one furry little girl - my precious Miniature Schnauzer, Abby! And we can't forget my adopted fish, Filbert who keeps me company at the office.

Hobbies/Interests: Collecting Anchor Hocking Forest Green Depression Glass (example pictured below), antiquing in general, reading, journaling, Fantasy Football, watching college sports - my favorite being Baylor Athletics (Sic 'em Bears!), and playing golf.

Favorite College Station Hang Out: Blue Baker
